Some new bills making headway in Tallahassee are setting their sights on repeat DUI offenders.

A new proposal in the House looks to give judges another option when dealing with a repeat DUI offender.

Instead of blowing into the machine which keeps their cars from starting, a judge would be able to order a person to have their breath tested twice a day.

The proposal goes even further than that, by also submitting drunk drivers to random urine tests and other monitoring devices like drug patches.

Legislators are off for the Holy Week and Passover holidays and are expected back on Monday.
