Florida education leaders are gathering this week with others from across the country to discuss issues like Common Core Standards.
Florida Educators Association Vice President Joanne McCall says it's a time for teachers to be cautious, since many are not sure all the Common Core lessons are age appropriate for students.
McCall says they're also concerned about the implementation of the new testing system for Florida, since it's only been field tested with students in Utah and not on this state's population.
The discussions are happening at the National Education Association's annual meeting in Denver, Colorado.
The event goes on through July 6th.
