Florida's economic recovery isn't showing signs of slowing down.
New research shows the Sunshine State has held strong in job growth throughout the first half of 2014, and is expected to continue through 2015.
Jerry Parrish with Florida Tax Watch says there are a couple of reasons to the success.
"Infrastructure," remarks Parrish, "Florida has invested in tourism marketing, Florida has invested in expanding Florida companies and recruiting new ones into the state."
Parrish cites trade, transportation, and utilities -- professional and business services -- and construction as the top 3 growing industries.
Florida's unemployment rate is at 6.2% -- which is the lowest among neighboring states.
