The race to be the Democratic candidate for Florida governor seems to be no contest.
In a Gravis Marketing poll, Democratic respondents favored former governor Charlie Crist by a margin of 41 percentage points over challenger, former Senate Minority leader Nan Rich.
Crist leads in the poll 68 to 27 percent.
Pollster Doug Kaplan says, with such a big lead, Crist is not even focusing on the primary anymore and is focusing on the general election against Republican incumbent Rick Scott.
And, with the release of the poll, county supervisors of election have a reminder for voters: Monday is the last day to register to vote in the August 26th primary.
Forms have to be in to your county supervisor of elections office by close of business Monday or postmarked with the July 28th date.
