It looks like the NFL's new policy against domestic violence could be put into use soon.
San Francisco 49ers Defensive lineman Ray McDonald is reportedly being arrested on domestic violence charges against a pregnant woman.
It was days ago when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell implemented new league penalties for anyone involved in assault, battery, domestic violence or sexual assault.
First-time offenders will receive a six-game suspension. A second offense will result in a lifetime ban.
No word yet on the circumstances surrounding McDonald's arrest.
