Therapy Dogs Are Miami Airport's Newest Employees

As reported by 7 News Miami, Miami International Airport is bringing on some new staff members. A new program is introducing a whole squad of therapy animals, who will serve as K-9 Ambassadors. The group is cleverly called Miami Hound Machine, and it consists of five dogs: Abbey, Belle, Dash, Donovan and Pico.

MIA Deputy Director Ken Pyatt said that this is "another way we are trying to make travel easier for passengers at MIA." 

Basically the job of the dogs is to connect with passengers. During peak hours Thursday through Monday, the dogs will disperse throughout the airport and bring some love to passengers that might be under a lot of stress.
