Everything we've ever read about smoking marijuana as it relates to sperm count has indicated adverse effects. However, a new study from super-smart Harvard scientists published in the journal Human Reproduction is saying the opposite.
To do this study researchers first collected... samples ...from 662 different men. Then, they divided the samples between men who have never smoked, those that smoked occasionally throughout their lives, and those who smoke regularly - defined as at least two joints per week. The last two groups showed sperm counts that were significantly higher than those who have never been acquainted with Mary Jane.
However, researchers cautioned that the study was just observational, so it's far too soon to take any conclusions from it. If you're into all the nitty gritty details, check out the full study results HERE .
