Toasted Sports for Friday

Toasted Sports for Friday 8/9/19

The Dolphins beat the Falcons 34-27. Josh Rosen led 2 touchdown drives but also threw a bad interception and made another rather egregious decision that he got lucky on, but he showed enough to warrant more time, and imo, he’s not very far behind Fitzpatrick. They head to Tampa for joint practices next week before preseason game #2.

Marlins snapped their losing streak by knocking off the Braves 9-2. I’ll be out at the game this Sunday for Bark at the Park with the Stella dog…Pup parade starts at 12p.

And…U.S. Soccer is making moves to defend its claims that the women's team has been paid more many than the men's team in the last few years by hiring lobbyists to fight back against the equal pay bill presently in Congress. The legislation would withhold federal funding from the 2026 World Cup, set to be held in North America and expected to be the most profitable World Cup yet, if the men's and women's national teams are not paid equally. Class move by US Soccer…SMDH

Have a great weekend!
