After months of speculation from fans all over the world, it appears that Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi will finally be returning to the screen...just not the silver screen. Instead, Master Kenobi will be coming to Disney's upcoming Disney+ streaming service! The report is all over, but it can actually be traced back to a story from about six months ago by John Hoey of Star Wars News Net.
There aren't any details at the moment, but with Disney's massive convention D23 right around the corner, it wouldn't be surprising if Ewan McGregor made an appearance. The common belief and most likely scenario is that the show will show us a slice of Kenobi's 19 year exile between the prequel and original Star Wars trilogies. Another report from popular Star Wars site Fantha Tracks says that McGregor might be directing some episodes as well.
