Tom Hooper’s big-budget bomb “Cats” was made available for digital rental on Tuesday while the world is home alone and self-isolated, and thankfully, Seth Rogen took to Twitter to entertain us all by live-tweeting ihs surreal and “trippy” experience watching it.
"I'm pretty stoned and watching Cats," he tweeted. "I've never seen the broadway show. It is truly trippy. Am I supposed to know what a Jellicle is? They've said it 200,000 times but I don't know what's happening haha."
Rogen was quick to point out many of the same gripes that critics and theatergoers had with the movie when it came out over Christmas: the inconsistency in scale, the utter oddness of Rebel Wilson's mouse army, the fact that some cats are butt-naked and others are parading around in fur coats.
