While most of us are cognizant of maintaining a six foot distance from each other in hopes of social distancing and slowing the spread of the Coronavirus there is nothing wrong with a helpful and funny reminder, especially when Adam Sandler and Jimmy Fallon are performing it!
Adam Sandler returned to the "at home" edition of The Tonight Show to duet with host Jimmy Fallon on "Don't Touch Grandma" Monday night. The song is simply about keeping your grubby hands off grammy so she doesn't get COVID-19.
The two comedians shared lyrics like "I love my grandma so much/ I know she loves me, too/ but thanks to this stupid virus/there are new grandma rules."
The song even offered up ways to stay connected to Grandma during lockdown; you could call her, invite her to a Zoom sesh, or just "enjoy her Grandma smell" from six feet away.
