So in case you missed it, there was a bit of a controversy surrounding Sunday night’s game between the Washington Football Team and the Philadelphia Eagles... The Washington win ultimately pushed the Giants out of the playoffs and a lot of folks think that the Eagles may have purposefully tanked.
Philly put third-string quarterback Nate Sudfeld in the game in the 4th quarter when they were only down 3 points. Eagles' Coach Doug Pederson insisted he was "coaching to win" and said his decision wasn’t influenced by 2021 NFL draft positioning.
Washington won the game 20-14 (and the NFC East), eliminating the Giants from the postseason.
