Actor Jaleel White is getting into the weed game. He's launching "ItsPurpl," a new cannabis line he developed in a collaboration with 710 Labs.
In an interview with "Forbes", Jaleel said that it's loosely based on the bootleg "Purple Urkel" strain, which has been using Urkel's image for years.
He said, quote, "The thing that always stood out to me was there no clear brand leader for fire purple weed. It made no sense to me, that no [one] of significance had claimed this lane, so why not me?"
He helped develop the "ItsPurpl" line during the pandemic, and he loves how it turned out. "I feel a little bit like Willy Wonka, the flavor came out so similar to grape candy."
