A retired Australian K-9 unit named Dante showed you can't take the police out of the dog after hilariously perking up upon hearing the word “cocaine.”
The viral video was first shared on TikTok by Davey Rutherford, who adopted Dante after he retired from the force.
While hanging out on the couch Rutherford starts talking, “All right, shopping list: Bread, milk, pasta, eggs, mayo, cocaine.”
At the mention of the drug, Dante snaps his head around sharply to stare at his owner.
So far the original video has been view over 2.6 million times. One twitter user shared the video with the caption "Once a police dog always a police dog."
