A man was arrested for taking a leg from a train collision in California.
Resendo Tellez removed the leg from the crash site after a person was struck and killed by the train, which severed the leg at the city’s Amtrak station. Disturbing video is out on social media showing a man holding the leg and eating from it, as he makes his way down a sidewalk.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office took Tellez into custody on multiple outstanding warrants and for taking evidence from the scene, as the train collision is under investigation by BNSF Railway.
