Josh Homme has had to return to the U.S. for "emergency surgery," and the Queens of the Stone Age are canceling the rest of their July tour dates.
The band posted that Josh Homme,
"must return to the United States immediately for emergency surgery."
it's unknown what the surgery is for, but the band stated that,
"it is no longer an option to continue."
The Queens had eight planned European headlining shows and festival appearances, and their next scheduled tour date is August 24 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The band will update Homme's status as the situation evolves.
