Guns N' Roses have added to their list of accomplishments, but this one puts them in rare air!
GNR placed an album on the Billboard 200 for 700 weeks and have become eighth all-time. Believe it or not it's not "Appetite for Destruction", it's not even "Chinese Democracy" ( Yeah, I went there), no it's their Greatest Hits Album. Despite the infinite wisdom of Sammy Hagar, greatest hits albums do seem to place high on sales and weeks on the Billboard charts and now Guns are in the top 10.
The album was actually the only music for Guns for quite a period of time, as it came during the time when the band worked on the constantly delayed Chinese Democracy (still going there). Greatest hits debuted at No. 3, and has been certified five times platinum, and joins Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, Journey's Greatest Hits, and Metallica's "Black" album.
