Wishing A Happy Birthday To Meg White!

Meg White is celebrating a birthday today!

As, the drummer for the White Stripes, she became one half of one of the most recognized bands in rock music today!

Meg formed the White Stripes with then-husband Jack White in 1997. Rising up through the indie scene the White Stripes, broke through in 2001, with White Blood Cells, which brought them international fame. Their 4th album "Elephant" featured their anthem "Seven Nation Army" which has became a stadium anthem that still rocks games to this day.

In 2007, while on tour for their 2007 album, Icky Thump, she suffered from acute anxiety, and the remaining dates were canceled, leading to the band disbanding in 2011. With the White Stripes, she won a Brit Award and six Grammys and has been listed by Rolling Stone magazine as one of their "100 Greatest Drummers of All Time" list.
