The story of Bob Dylan in the film "A Complete Unknown" is now up for eight Oscars, including Best Picture!
The film is up for, Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role for Timothee Chalamet as Bob himself, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, for Monica Barbaro for her performance as Joan Baez, Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Best Director for James Mangold, Best Adapted Screenplay, by Mangold and Jay Cocks, as well as Best Sound, and Best Costume Design.
The film was nominated for three Golden Globes, but came home empty handed, as A Complete Unknown, was released on Christmas Day, and has so far earned over $62 million at the box office. Chalamet will serve as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live, where he will perform Dylan songs.
