Hunger and homelessness is a reality in South Florida. The homeless on the streets of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties could be veterans, single moms, teens, people with mental illness or your former neighbor or friend who’s fallen on hard times.

This Easter and Passover weekend help NewsRadio 610 and the Miami Rescue Mission show the homeless that you care about their well-being and future. Our goal is to provide 20,000 meals for our fellow South Floridians.

Every $2.10 provides for a hot, nutritious meal for someone in need. We believe that "Hope often begins with a Meal". Your gift will bring more than just a meal - it will bring Hope and more importantly an opportunity for a person to open the door to experience a new life.

WIOD’s Brian Mudd will broadcast live from the Miami Rescue Mission from 10a to Noon on Good Friday *4/19/19 to raise awareness of homelessness. Stop by and say hi to Brian and experience a special day at the Miami Rescue Mission as they provide family activities, clothing give-a-ways, Mission Hope Bags, entertainment, Easter baskets for the kids, and delicious food.

Thanks from all of us at WIOD for your Good support!
