Parkland School Shooting - How Can We Help?

There is a shortage of O negative blood right now in Broward County today in the aftermath of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

One Blood South Florida says that after the shooting it rushed additional blood to Broward Health North Hospital and Broward Health Medical Center to help victims and while immediate blood needs have been met, hospitals do need to replenish the area's O negative blood supply, the universal blood type and is used to treat trauma patients.

OneBlood is asking O negative donors to please visit a donor center or Big Red Bus blood drive and donate; appointments can also be made online by visiting oneblood.org. or on the OneBlood app.
