The ordeal began at around 3am. The man was finally removed from the brick fireplace by 7:30AM. The family didn't recognize the man. The hospital said he should survive his serious injuries.
The Dad said: “This guy’s like, ‘Ay, ay, ay,’” he recalled. “He’s like saying some Hail Marys, some hallelujah stuff.”
