During the search of a home for a fugitive on the run, one police officer accidentally discharged his firearm into his partner's shoulder as they were exiting the property and the owner's dog got loose. The officer who fired the shot said the he was bitten by the animal but that was not visible on camera. The wounded officer is expected to make a fully recovery.
