A woman is accused of using dog urine to pass a court-ordered drug test.
42 year old Jessica Beatty was released from custody under condition of submitting to drug test. According her arrest affidavit Clearwater police arrested Beatty again after trying to pass canine pee as her own.
“She collected urine from her aunt’s dog,” police said.
That would lead to a Florida judge revoking the prior order that set Beatty free.
“The lab will immediately flag this,” California-based OHS Health and Safety Services warns on its website. “Animal urine is completely detectable.”
“Human urine samples and animal urine samples showed different patterns in metabolites profile and several characteristic metabolites were identified,” researchers at the U.S. National Library of Medicine found.
