In 1994, Alice In Chains' "Jar Of Flies" became the 1st EP to Debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
The band came home from the road and found themselves homeless, as they were evicted due to non payment of rent. The band would move into London Bridge Studios in Seattle and wrote & recorded Jar Of Flies in one week. The singles "No Excuses", and "I Stay Away" did well on the charts as their videos played heavily on MTV, and the album was nominated for two Grammys in 1995.
The EP has been certified quadruple platinum, making it one of the band's most successful albums.
