In 2002 the world got to look into the personal life of the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne. MTV would debut the reality show that followed Ozzy and his family in "The Osbournes. While only two of his three children would be a part of the show, as daughter Aimee wanted to keep her private life private, the rest of the Osbourne clan was up for grabs as wife & Manager Sharon, along with daughter Kelly and son Jack, would be shown going about their day to day lives.
Throughout the four seasons of the show, viewers got to see a more personal side of Ozzy, be introduced to the now big time tv personality Sharon, and watch as Kelly started a music career and Jack became a record company president. In it's first season it was cited as the most-viewed series ever on MTV.
When the show ended its' run on MTV a new show was launched on Fox, but did not match the success of the original. Eventually, Jack and Ozzy would unite to do a show of their own, as Kelly moved on to a modeling career and Sharon would become a talk show host on the Sharon Osbourne Show, as well as The Talk.
Not bad for a once burned out metal star who reignited his career multiple times in music and now on TV too.
