Michael Schenker is back celebrating his glory days with his new album "My Years With UFO"!
The album is the 50th anniversary of Schenker's time with UFO, which spans from 1972 to 1978, when Michael joined UFO, when he was 17 years old, becoming a driving force behind songs like "Doctor Doctor", "Rock Bottom" and "Only You Can Rock Me".
Michael is releasing the song "Mother Mary", with G N'R's Slash and former SKID ROW singer Erik Grönwall.
During the UFO years Michael shined on the albums "Phenomenon", "Force It", "No Heavy Petting", "Lights Out", "Obsession" and the classic live album "Strangers In The Night", so with this album, Schenker presents 11 of UFO's greatest hits from this era, with Derek Sherinian on keyboards, Brian Tichy on drums, and Barry Sparks on bass.
The album features Axl Rose, Slash, Kai Hansen from HELLOWEEN, DEEP PURPLE's Roger Glover, Joey Tempest and John Norum from EUROPE, Dee Snider, Joe Lynn Turner, Carmine Appice, Adrian Vandenberg, and Stephen Pearcy, and due to arrive on Sept. 20.
