Ross Edgley, ran a marathon while hauling a car, did a triathlon lugging a massive tree, and climbed a rope to the height of Everest, all for charity.
Now Ross wants to go head to head with sharks! Yeah, that's not a typo, the man is taking on sharks. His latest adventure will be called, "Shark vs. Ross Edgley," and will air on National Geographic as part of SHARKFEST.
Ross will take on four different species of shark in four different events. He's trying to leap out of the water like a great white, handle the G-forces of a hammerhead's turns, fast and feast like a migrating tiger shark, and keep up with a macko shark's speed.
"I'm all about setting a crazy goal and then figuring out how to smash it," Ross says. "Sharks are the ultimate ocean athletes, so I thought, why not try to match their moves? It's gonna be wild. Sure, I'll probably fail a few times, but we're turning it into this badass sports and shark science experiment. Bringing that ocean conservation vibe to a whole new crowd."
It's SHARKFEST time, baby!
