Michael J. Fox blew everyone's mind when he performed with Coldplay at the Glastonbury Festival.
Fox who suffers from Parkinson’s played guitar on the band’s “Fix You” during their set at the U.K. music festival. On IG Fox thanked Coldplay, for a great time,
“There is a time for every band and a band for every time,” Fox wrote alongside a carousel of photos, including one with members of his team and him sitting in a wheelchair in front of an “optimism is a political act” sign. “This is @coldplay’s time.”
Fox also shared a short video of the band backstage, who at the end of the performance, Chris Martin praised Fox,
“The main reason we’re in a band is because of watching Back to the Future,” where Fox played Marty McFly who plays guitar in his own band, as well as memorably during the 1955 school dance scene. “So thank you to our hero forever and one of the most amazing people on Earth, Mr. Michael J. Fox.”
