Police have arrested a man for the 75th time.
A barcode manipulation scheme that targeted Lowe's stores, lead the police to Mark Brents.
"Despite this individual's lengthy criminal history, he still has not learned his lesson. We will not tolerate habitual offenders who continue to prey on our community,"said Sheriff Chad Chronister of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Mark Brents, was switching barcodes on items to make them cheaper to avoid paying full price, then Brents put them online to sell defrauding Lowe's of over $4,500 in merchandise. On top of that Brents was apprehended for driving recklessly in a black Nissan Altima with an improper tag, after being on probation for Felony Fleeing to Elude. This means that Brents has been in prison eleven times and jail 74 times since 1985.
Well, you know what they say, 75th time's the charm.
