Stuart Copeland Goes Nu Metal With Limp Bizkit

It's not every day you can get one of the greatest musicians in their field to play something out of their wheelhouse, but Drumeo did just that when they got Stewart Copeland to play Limp Bizkit's "Rollin".

Drumeo's YouTube channel, features tutorials, masterclasses and guest appearances from some of the best drummers on the planet, so getting an all-time great like Stewart Copeland is par for the course. A regular segment features Drumeo Content Director Brandon Toews playing well-known rock songs to drummers who've never heard the songs before, and they face the challenge to play along with the track, without hearing the drum parts. So, you get David Lee Roth drummer Greg Bisonette playing System of a Down's Toxicity, and Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith reinterpreting Thirty Seconds To Mars, and now Copeland is given the challenge of "Rollin", by Limp Bizkit.

Copeland, having never heard the song before,

"Lucky for you, I don't know shit, I don't know any song," said the 72-year-old drummer. "I like those guys in concept, I'm not that familiar with their music."

Like anything that Copeland does he doesn't take a few listens to figure something out, he instantly tears into the track the second it starts playing and the show he puts on is as chaotic and magical as the man himself.
