Spring Breakers Descend on South Florida's Beaches

Spring Break Hits Florida's Beaches

(Ft. Lauderdale, FL) -- Spring breakers start to populate South Florida's beaches.

WSVN reported yesterday that the A1A highway alongside the shoreline in Ft. Lauderdale Beach was bumper to bumper with visitors' vehicles Saturday during the first official weekend of Spring Break.

Broward and Miami-Dade officials say, visitors, as well as business owners, have been forewarned. Anyone found to be in violation of COVID-19 restrictions such as not respecting or enforcing mask-wearing in public or social distancing faces the risk of getting arrested or possibly even more sanctions.
