Boca Bash..to go or not to go?
As a relatively new resident of Boca Raton, I didn't know what to make of Boca bash. The annual non-city sanctioned boating and boozing event that is held every April on Lake Boca in the Intracoastal waterway. I mean, I'm a boater, and I'm all for drinking, but I'd seen a few idiots over the years throwing drunken punches at other boaters and I was like, "ok, it's amateur hour". I'm also the Father of a 16 yr old who was dying to go. I caved, he went and had a blast, and there's even an organized cleanup the next day. So, I'm going next year, all but guaranteeing that my Son won't want to.
She's a Hooker?
It happens about once a year, some poor schlub goes to a bar, meets an extraordinarily attractive woman, she falls for him, he can't believe the luck he's having. She accompanies him back to his hotel room or home, sleeps with him, and then he wakes up and his Rolex is gone and so is the hottie. First of all, there sure are a lot of Rolexes out there, and second, and this is a word to my boys out there: if it seems to good to be true, it is. Super models don't go home with regular guys unless you look like Brad Pitt, and here's the shocker: you don't.
