The upcoming Batman film (currently titled The Batman) has added two new cast members. Joining Robert Pattinson will be Jefrrey Wright as friend and ally Commissioner Gordon, and Jonah Hill is in talks to play The Riddler!
The Hollywood Reporter and Collider had these exclusives. Fans of the Batman and DC Universe film franchises will remember previous versions of Gordon played by Gary Oldman and J.K. Simmons. As for The Riddler, Jim Carrey was the last major iteration. Some people have reported that Hill is up for the Penguin role, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It appears it's definitely question marks in his future.
Neither of the two actors has officially signed on or been included in a formal announcement, but we're at that point in the casting process where the news stories are pretty much a go, outside of situations where things completely fall through. Slowly but surely we're going to start seeing more and more casting choices from director Matt Reeves.
