Every year I see Hanukkah spelled a different way, and apparently all of them are right.
We're guessing that Smokey Robinson has never seen the "Chanukah" spelling before because this gem was posted on Twitter yesterday. A couple of guys paid Smokey $350 to make a Cameo video wishing their mom a Happy Chanukah, Smokey pronounced it "Chuh-NOO-kah", and said he had no idea what it meant.
He said, quote, "They wanted me to wish you happy "chuh-NOO-kah". I have no idea what "chuh-NOO-kah" is, but happy "chuh-NOO-kah", because they said so. Anyway God bless you babe, and enjoy "chuh-NOO-kah".
