Just minutes before her first race at Ellis Park in Henderson, Kentucky, 2-year-old racehorse Bold and Bossy was reportedly startled by another horse before bucking her jockey on the way to the the start gates.
In full race gear, including blinders and a yellow No. 4 racing saddle, Bold and Bossy eventually made her way onto Interstate 69 before being corralled by a county sheriff and a handful of bystanders.
As if that wasn't enough of an adventure, the recovering Bold and Bossy was staying overnight in an Ellis Park barn when it CAUGHT FIRE Sunday morning. An “unknown hero” saved her and six other horses.
