Hooters, the long-time chain known for wings and short shorts, is launching a fast-casual restaurant called Hoots.
Instead of table side service from scantily clad women the new chain will feature counter pick up - similar to Chipotle and Panera Bread - served by men and women in more conservative uniforms.
Set to open mid-February, Hoots will offer an abbreviated, one-page menu with some of the most popular items from full-service Hooters restaurants, including its classic chicken wings.
