While most people in the world are concerned with going blind, the South Carolina Emergency Management Division is warning its residents of the Lizard Man!
No, this isn't a joke. Sadly, it's very real to South Carolina.
Apparently there have been seven previous sightings of lizardmen in South Carolina recently and the local police are worried that the eclipse might be a perfect time for the thing to strike at innocent eclipse-goers but they were clear:
"South Carolina Emergency Management Division does not know if Lizardmen become more active during a solar eclipse...But we advise that residents of Lee and Sumter counties should remain vigilant."
They're not joking around, people! There is even a map so residents are...prepared?
Maybe residents of South Carolina should just say inside during the eclipse...
...or just move away.
