What Pete Davidson undoubtedly expected to be a normal trip to New York for filming on his new project, "Big Time Adolescence," ended in a run-in with the law as he and comedian friend Joey Gay, Jr. were pulled over by Manlius police. According to the police report, the pair were stopped at around 4:25 a.m. in Fayetteville.
As reported by the New York Daily News, Joey Gay was arrested on a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance. The 24 year old Davidson, however, successfully passed a field sobriety test and was not cited. The SNL start isn't facing any charges.
This is certainly a major change in the news cycle of Pete Davidson who's recently been in the media quite a bit after getting engaged to pop star Ariana Grande. So far his representatives have refused any comment on the incident, though Joey Gay's Instagram account does have a video of the incident.
