Language Barrier Sparks Taco Bell Altercation

As reported by Fox News, a language based confrontation erupted at a Florida Taco Bell last week. The situation arose due to the fact that the employee didn't speak English, and the customer didn't speak Spanish. This led to the employee getting visibly annoyed before refusing to take the order, citing the customers she had waiting in the drive through line.

The now former employee, named Luisa in the video, said that because they were in Hialeah, that there was nobody at the location who spoke English: “There is no one who speaks English. This is Hialeah, I’m sorry.”

The incident caused Taco Bell to fire the employee, and the customer in question, Alexandria Montgomery, took to Facebook to vent her frustrations. The post is full of comments that largely support her feelings on what happened. Taco Bell's statement simply says: “This individual no longer works for the brand.”
