As reported by CBS News, 7-year-old Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja shocked the world (and the internet at large) with her stunning rendition of the national anthem. She won a contest for the opportunity to sing the song in front of the crowd at an LA Galaxy soccer match.
"Well, it's not really that easy," said the talented young child. She's been singing since she was only 1-year-old and has already added performances at both Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl to her resume.
Despite her immense skill, she isn't without her fair share of understandable nerves: "Always before I sing, my heart will beat really, really fast," she said.
