As reported by Local 10 ABC, a kangaroo is now on the loose in South Florida, and now it's the job of our state wildlife authorities to find it. Facebook user Denise Cooper saw the runaway kangaroo hopping along down the road in Jupiter Farms and posted a video to her page.
The kangaroo's licensed owner, Eric Westergard, is now being helped by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
How exactly the kangaroo escaped is still up in the air, but it has been confirmed that the animal's name is Storm. Anyone who spots the kangaroo is asked to call the FWC's wildlife alert hotline at 888-404-FWCC.
