The spirit of Christmas itself was threatened on Sunday night in South Florida. As reported by Local 10 ABC, a fire broke out at the local holiday staple known as Santa's Enchanted Forest.
The fire reportedly began around 7:30 p.m., and it could be seen raging from the Palmetto Expressway. It apparently began in the bushes. Thankfully, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue had no injuries to report. FPL is now tasked with repairing a power line that was damaged in the fire.
Despite the chaotic scene, Santa is still set to open up shop in his forest on November 1st. Santa's Enchanted Forest is located inside Tropical Park.
