Wholesome News: Olympic Medalist Saves Turtle's Life

As reported by 7 News Miami, a turtle was facing a difficult and dangerous situation when it was saved by an Olympic gold medalist.

Olympic track star David Verburg rescued the turtle from a busy intersection outside of Orlando. He was driving when he noticed the turtle in trouble, and was compelled to do the right thing. He ran into action (something he's used to doing given his accolades) and saved the little traveler.

Verburg brought the turtle back to his car, before driving it to a safe spot by a tree that was a good distance away from the traffic.
