Camels are an animal that most of us inherently associate with lands over seas. We don't ever really think we're just going to run into one. Despite this, residents of the Redlands community in Southwest Miami-Dade might start to think differently.
As reported by 7 News Miami, local police and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (SPCA) joined forces to find and capture a camel who was lost in the area. The animal was reported missing on Wednesday, so thankfully it didn't spend too much time roaming around the area.
According to the SPCA, the camel appears to be in good shape, and they were holding it so the owner could retrieve it.
