Doc's Dog of The Week: McArthur

Doc Reno from BIG 105.9 wants you to meet “Doc’s Dog of the Week” from the Humane Society of Broward County. McArthur (ID 603502) is his name and fun is his game! McArthur (ID 603502) is a six year old, 70 found fellow who thinks he is lap dog! While his past is a bit of a mystery, he was transferred to the Humane Society from another shelter, the staff and volunteers here say he loves attention and is very treat motivated and eager to learn. McArthur needs someone to believe in him, could it be you? One thing you should know is this cute fellow is heartworm positive. This is not contagious to people or other pets, but the family who adopts him must be willing to bring him back to the HSBC so he can be treated as an outpatient. There is no cost to the adopter for the treatment.

Lucky for McArthur he is a Dolly’s Dream Dog, so his adoption fee has been sponsored and he gets to go home with the goodies needed to settle into his new home. For more details visit the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I-95. The shelter opens daily at 10:30 or call 954-989-3977 ext. 6
