On Friday a helicopter transporting a donor heart crashed while landing on the helipad of a hospital in L.A. Three people were on board, but only the pilot had minor injuries. Fortunately, a first responder found the heart and it was okay.
He handed it over to someone from the hospital, but that guy TRIPPED and fell, dropping the heart. Another member of the medical team scooped it up, and it was transplanted into a patient a couple of hours later.
