Delta Crew Saves Plane from Hijacking...Hog-Ties Suspect

Quick-thinking members of a Delta flight crew stopped an alleged hijacker on board their airplane Friday. According to reports, a passenger tried to enter the cockpit of Delta Flight 386, while the plane was en route to Nashville from Los Angeles.

The plane was diverted to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Video uploaded to social media shows the suspect was zip-tied. Another tweet shows a crewmember who had wrestled the unidentified suspect with his hands together and his head lowered. "This man needs an award," the poster tweeted. "Just saved the plane."

That flight attendant has since been identified by on social media as Christopher Williams. As for the suspect, all the Albuquerque FBI will say is that that there was “no threat to the public."
