The Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 in overtime on Friday night to even the first-round playoff series 3-3. With the win, the Lightning forced a winner-take-all game seven on Sunday night in Tampa.
This game was scoreless through three periods - in overtime, it was Gage Goncalves scoring for to lift the Lightning to the win. Andrei Vasilevskiy made saved all 30 of the shots he faced on net to earn his first shutout of the postseason.
Game seven of the first round playoff series is scheduled for Sunday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Canadiens is scheduled for 6:00 PM on Sunday night at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa.
