New Pixar Film 'Soul' Debuts First Trailer (And I'm Gonna Cry)

Soul (Pixar)

So Pixar released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming film, and this one's totally gonna make me cry when it comes out. I'm weak. I can feel it. These Pixar movies always do, I swear. Well, except for the Cars movies. But that's not the point. The film is called Soul and it looks like it's going to get heavy and introspective, which I love. It stars Jamie Foxx in the lead role of Joe. Here's what co-director Kemp Powers had to say about it:

“Soul” introduces Joe Gardner, a middle-school band teacher whose true passion is playing jazz. “I think Joe is having that crisis that all artists have,” says Powers. “He’s increasingly feeling like his lifelong dream of being a jazz musician is not going to pan out and he’s asking himself ‘Why am I here? What am I meant to be doing?’ Joe personifies those questions.”
